This classic tasting tomato soup has 50% less salt than regular Heinz Big Red Condensed Tomato Soup. This condensed tomato soup couldn't be easier to prepare - simply pour into a saucepan, add water and heat to a simmer. For a creamier soup, milk can be added as well. Concentrated Tomatoes (91%), Sugar, Tapioca Starch, Salt, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Bicarbonate), Flavours, Natural Colour (Paprika Extract), Spice.
Preparation Instructions
Stove Top: Empty contents into a saucepan. Stir in a can of water. Heat to a simmer. Stir occasionally. For a creamier soup: Stir in 1/2 can water. Heat to simmer. Add 1/2 can milk. Heat. Do not boil. Microwave (1000w): Empty contents into a microwave container. Stir in a can of water, cover. Heat on high for 4 minutes. Stir, cover. Heat for a further 2-3 minutes, or until hot. (Microwave ovens vary in powder and suggested times are a guide only). For a creamier soup: Stir in 1/2 can water, cover. Heat on high for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 can milk and heat for a further 3 minutes. Do not boil.To minimize curdling (a natural reaction between milk proteins and the soup), heat soup and water to a simmer, before adding the milk.
